We're slightly ahead of schedule on fulfillment, and a very small handful of Backer Rewards have gone out. The majority will go out over the next two to three weeks.
Our sauces and t-shirts should arrive at the fulfillment warehouse in Lafayette, Louisiana on Tuesday, March 21st. We will begin shipping everything in segments based on Reward Tiers. Everyone should be receiving Backers Rewards before April 1st or the week following. We will reach out if there is a delay.
If there are any issues with your shipment, do not hesitate to reach out!

Thanks to everyone who has sent us their Backer Surveys. 78% of the surveys have been submitted to us. I personally know the majority of those who have not had a chance to fill theirs out, so I will be harassing them for t-shirt sizes and shipping addresses over the next few days. You know who you are. I will also send a fun update with some Backer stats provided by Backerkit.
I’m estimating Backer Rewards will begin shipping at the end of the month. We're targeting April 1st as the goal to begin sending out your rewards. Last week, I was informed of a procedural delay in the release of our new sauce. We are still awaiting an amendment from our Processing Authority, which we expect to receive in a day or so. Unfortunately, this kept us from unveiling ZING DYNASTY last weekend at the Fiery Foods Show in Albuquerque, but we built a lot of excitement around it — even got a few wholesale orders for it just on our reputation alone!
As many of you know from our social media posts last weekend, the Fiery Foods Show was almost a complete disaster for us. Our pallet of craft hot sauces was mistaken for a pallet of weight loss pills and sent to Las Vegas, Nevada instead of Albuquerque.
Luckily, it was located and re-shipped overnight — just in time for the big event. We arrived at our booth on Day 1 only to discover much of our product was totally destroyed, lost and/or stolen… completely unsellable to wholesale vendors. We made the most of it, and looked good on the rebound! We sold all of the product we had left and made many new wholesale connections.

Starting Monday and Tuesday, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
The Backerkit email will look like this:
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

Today is Mardi Gras on the Bayou, but just another Tuesday in Gotham. We made the most of it by making 100 gallons of ZING DYNASTY Sichuan Habanero! I dashed it all over my takeaway sushi lunch (eel & avacado roll) — it was zing-a-lingin’ delicious. I can’t wait for you to have it.
